10. John Part - Canada

John Part is a retired darts player from Canada who competed for the British Darts Organization (B.D.O.) and the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). In 2003 and 2008, he won the PDC World Championship for the second time, and in 1994, he won the BDO World Championship.

He won the 2006 Las Vegas Desert Classic, establishing himself as North America's greatest dart player ever. John has won the Canadian National Championships five times and the Canadian Open three times.

In 2002, he also won the Ireland Open Autumn Classic and Spring Classic. John currently works for the BBC as a commentator. Part is known for having a keen eye and a thorough understanding of the game, making him an ideal candidate for commentating. John however, became a full-time commentator for most World Championship games after retiring in 2020.

John was also the first non-European to win the PDC World Championships. He is also the first player from outside the United Kingdom to win the World Championship.

9. Martin Adams - England

Martin Adams, an English professional darts player, plays for the World Darts Federation (WDF). He has won the World Masters Championship three times and the BDO World Championship three times. From 1994 to 2013, he was the captain of the England dart team for the longest period of time.

This is the longest stay of any player in darts history. Aside from that, with 25 World Championship appearances, Adams retains the record for the most consecutive appearances. From 1993 until 2018, he was a consistent qualifier.

Along with Bob Anderson, he is the only player in darts history to win three World Masters championships in a row. Adams won the non-televised Scania Open in 1999, defeating Phil Taylor. However, after failed to qualify in 2019, his long run came to an end. He even qualified in April of that year, when he was diagnosed with prostate cancer.

Despite this, he was able to beat cancer with the help of therapy and drugs. As a result, Martin was given the green light to start playing and preparing for the World Championships. He also works as an analyst and commentator for B.D.O. events on a regular basis.

In the 1980s, they were the most dominant darts players. In most of the tournaments staged, one of these three elite darts players was named champion. He is one of only six players in history to have won the World Championship three times, in 1979, 1987, and 1993. He is most known for becoming the first player to hit a televised nine-dart finish in 1984.

He also won the 2013 European Championships and the 2014 British Open. He's also a four-time winner of the PDC World Cup of Darts. Unfortunately, Lewis was suspended by PDC in 2018 for his incident with Jose Justicia. Adrian received a three-month ban and a Β£3,000 fine as a result of the altercation.

Similarly, when he came back from suspension, his form was way out of balance. His ranking dropped to 41st place in the world. He is still regarded as one of the best darts players of his period.

6. Gary Anderson - Scotland

Gary Anderson is a professional Scottish dart player and he currently plays for the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). He was a former member of the B.D.O. and W.D.F., where he was also ranked No. 1. In PDC, he won two world championships in a row in 2015 and 2016.

Anderson defeated Phil Taylor 7-6 in the 2015 tournament. Similarly, he defeated Adrian Lewis by a score of 7-5 in the 2016 competition. In 2011, he won the Premier League, and in 2014, he won the Players Championship Finals. The athlete is well-known for his silky throws and high-scoring abilities.

Michael began darts when he was 13 years old, and at the age of 17, he became the youngest player to win a B.D.O. ranking tournament.

In 2010, he was also named runner-up for the BBC Sports Personality of the Year award.

After the 2018 World Championship, Taylor announced his retirement from professional darts. He competed in the inaugural 2022 World Seniors Darts Championship but was defeated in the quarterfinals by Kevin Painter.
