Toya Johnson is a reality TV veteran at this point. From 2009 to 2010, she starred on the VH1 show Tiny and Toya, with Tiny Harris, rapper T.I.'s wife. After that, she had a one-season run with her own show, Toya: A Family Affair. In 2014, Johnson and ex Lil Wayne appeared on an episode of MTV's My Super Sweet 16 when they threw a party in honor of daughter Reginae Carter's milestone birthday.
Johnson and her now-ex-husband, Mickey "Memphitz" Wright, tried to work through their issues on Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars in 2016. Alas, things clearly didn't work out. From 2017 until 2018, Johnson made some appearances on Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta when her daughter was a full-time cast member. As of this writing, Johnson is a cast member on the VH1 series T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle.
Johnson has parlayed her reality TV success into being a successful author. Over the years, she has written four books, including a memoir about her life called My Own Words... My Real Reality. She and her daughter co-wrote the book You Just Don't Get It. Johnson also penned a children's book in honor of her daughter Reign called Learning Colors with Reignbeaux.
While there's no doubt that the world learned her name because of Lil Wayne, Toya Johnson has been hard at work, making her own mark on the world.
